PRINT’S VOICE 16: Capitol Hill Fly-In is Printing Industries of America’s signature government affairs event that brings printers, suppliers and allied interests together for a powerful program of public policy and political education, issue advocacy, interaction with Members of Congress and networking events on Capitol Hill. Recommended attendees are Presidents/CEOs and other C-Suite executives of printing and graphic communications companies. Executives with responsibility for environmental/health and safety, human resources, legal, postal, tax, technology and/or sales are especially encouraged to attend.

PRINT’S VOICE is held in conjunction with National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) annual Manufacturing Summit. Attendees will attend both industry break-out sessions hosted by PIA along with events attended a cross section of manufacturers. PIA is also pleased to partner on this event with Association of Independent Corrugated Converters and Fibre Box Association.

The highlight of the fly-in is the in-person grassroots lobbying meetings on Capitol Hill that allow you to take your company and industry story directly to decision-makers in the US Senate and US House of Representatives. Capitol Hill Lobbying Visit Requests

Capitol Hill lobbying visits must be requested by email no later than May 13. Please email your meeting requests and include the elected official’s name or state/congressional with whom you would like to meet to membercentral@printing.org If you would like to modify or cancel your requests, please do so by sending an email to the same address. Your meetings will be scheduled by NAM and you will receive a personalized schedule of Capitol Hill meetings at the event check-in on June 7.

Lobbying delegations are small-group meetings that will include multi-industry representatives who are attending NAM’s Manufacturing Summit. There is not a guarantee that the Senator or Representative may attend the meeting. Be sure to select Senators and Representatives who are in states/Congressional District in which your company has facilities and/or your own Senator and Representative. Please prioritize and limit your meeting requests to 10 elected officials total.

Capitol Hill lobbying visits can be requested as part of the registration process. Please follow the online registration prompts to select which elected officials with whom you would like to meet. Your meetings will be scheduled by the conference hosts and you will receive a personalized schedule of Capitol Hill meetings at the event check-in on June 7th.

Also, please note that Printing Industries of America, along with Associated of Corrugated Converters and Fibre Box Association, will host an optional Welcome Reception on the evening of Monday, June 6th for those arriving in the nation’s capital on that day.
